Good air today for Annecy, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

⚠️ This website is currently under active development. Some data may be incomplete or temporarily inaccurate. For health-critical decisions, please verify information through official government or environmental sources.
Categories follow US EPA AQI breakpoints for PM (estimate from latest valid measurements; this project does not compute EPA NowCast/24-hour AQI yet).

This friendly indicator summarizes the latest city readings. For health guidance, please see: EPA AirNow or WHO.

Air quality today

The air quality in Annecy today is classified as Good. The primary pollutant measured is PM2.5, with a reference concentration of 6.5 µg/m³, while the accompanying PM10 level stands at 5.0 µg/m³ based on six valid observations.

Data are shown via OpenAQ and reflect the current monitoring results for the city. This page is informational; for health guidance, use official sources such as EPA AirNow or WHO.

What the data includes

The dataset for Annecy includes measurements of five pollutants – nitrogen monoxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), ozone (O₃), particulate matter ≤10 µm (PM₁₀) and particulate matter ≤2.5 µm (PM₂.₅). In total 12 observation rows are recorded across three monitoring stations, so each pollutant is not necessarily represented at every site. The most recent values come from early February 2026 for four of the pollutants, while the NO data point dates back to March 2024, indicating that the nitrogen monoxide record is older than the others.

Across the city the observed concentrations show a fairly wide spread for some gases and a tighter range for particles. For NO the recorded values range from 4.3 µg/m³ up to a maximum of 55.0 µg/m³ at the ANNECY Rocade site, with a median around 26 µg/m³; this suggests occasional peaks amid generally lower levels. NO₂ values are clustered tightly between 8.7 and 23.8 µg/m³, median 9.6 µg/m³, all measured at the same Rocade location. Ozone shows a moderate spread from 43.2 to 71.3 µg/m³ (median 57 µg/m³) with its highest reading recorded at LOVERCHY. Particulate matter is the most consistent: PM₁₀ varies between 0 and 9.8 µg/m³ (median 5 µg/m³) at Rocade, while PM₂.₅ has a single reported value of 6.5 µg/m³ from LOVERCHY, reflecting limited sampling for the finer fraction.

Overall the data are fairly fresh for NO₂, O₃ and both particle sizes – all updated within the past three days – but the older NO record means that current nitrogen monoxide conditions are less well captured. Because only three stations contribute to twelve rows, spatial coverage is modest; concentrations can differ between the Rocade and LOVERCHY sites, so the snapshot may not represent the full variability of air quality throughout Annecy at any given moment.

Data notes

The data shown for Annecy are based on six valid measurements and were refreshed recently, with the latest update recorded at 2026‑02‑10T15:00:00+00:00 (updated within 3 days). This snapshot reflects conditions at the time of sampling; air quality can differ across neighbourhoods and change throughout the day, so values may not represent every location or moment in the city.
