What the data includes

The Calais air‑quality dataset currently contains measurements for seven pollutants – carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), ozone (O₃), particulate matter ≤ 10 µm (PM₁₀), particulate matter ≤ 2.5 µm (PM₂.₅) and sulphur dioxide (SO₂). These values come from five monitoring stations, each contributing a single row of data for the pollutants it records. Overall, only three of the fifteen rows are recent; the rest are older than three days, with many dating back to 2025 or earlier.

The freshest observations were recorded on 2026‑02‑10 at 15:00 UTC for NO₂ (10.1 µg/m³), PM₁₀ (7.8 µg/m³) and PM₂.₅ (5.5 µg/m³) at the Calais Berthelot site, while O₃ and SO₂ are only available from 2025‑01‑06 (65.9 µg/m³ and 2.3 µg/m³ respectively) at Calais Parmentier. CO and NO each have a single historic entry – CO measured at 12.5 µg/m³ on 2017‑05‑02 and NO at 21.5 µg/m³ on 2024‑03‑11, both also from the Parmentier station.
