Air quality today

The air quality in Rayong is classified as USG today. The primary pollutant identified is PM2.5, with a measured concentration of 47.4 µg/m³. In addition, the PM10 level is recorded at 91.0 µg/m³ based on seven valid observations.

Data are shown via OpenAQ and reflect the current monitoring results for the city. This page is informational; for health guidance, use official sources such as EPA AirNow or WHO.

What the data includes

The Rayong air‑quality dataset currently contains six measured pollutants – carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), particulate matter 10 µm or less (PM10), particulate matter 2.5 µm or less (PM2.5) and sulphur dioxide (SO₂). These values come from three monitoring stations, giving a total of eighteen individual rows of data. All readings were last updated on 2026‑02‑10 at 22:00 UTC, so the newest timestamps are just a few days old for every pollutant.

Across the city the recorded concentrations show a fairly narrow spread for gases but a broader range for particulates. CO values range from 0.4 to 0.6 ppm with a median of 0.43 ppm; NO2 is between 0.005 and 0.023 ppm, median 0.007 ppm; O3 varies from 0.0 to 0.069 ppm, median 0.027 ppm. In contrast, PM10 spans 12 to 91 µg/m³ (median 49 µg/m³) and PM2.5 runs from 29.7 to 47.4 µg/m³ (median 43 µg/m³). SO₂ is the most stable, recorded at a constant 0.0 ppm in the latest row.

The dataset provides complete coverage for all six pollutants, but the number of stations differs by pollutant type. While CO, NO2, O3 and SO₂ each have three recent rows, PM10 also has three recent entries, whereas PM2.5’s most recent value comes from a different site (Khai Surasinghanat). This uneven station distribution means that particulate measurements may reflect slightly different local conditions than the gas‑phase data. Overall, the information is fresh and spans a useful range of values, though the limited number of monitoring locations suggests that air‑quality conditions can still vary across other parts of Rayong not captured by these three sites.
