What the data includes

Reading’s OpenAQ feed contains data for eight measured pollutants – nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), ozone (O₃), particulate matter of three size fractions (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10), relative humidity, temperature and the particle count metric UM003. The dataset comprises 52 individual rows drawn from nine monitoring stations across the city, giving a modest spatial snapshot of air quality conditions.

The most recent observations were recorded on 2026‑02‑10 at either 20:00 or 21:00 UTC, so every pollutant in the current set has been updated within the last seven days. However, the number of rows varies markedly by parameter: PM2.5, PM10, temperature, PM1, relative humidity and UM003 each have between five and eight recent entries, while NO₂ is represented by only three rows and O₃ by two. This uneven coverage means that short‑term trends can be followed for the bulk of the data but are less reliable for nitrogen dioxide and ozone.

Across the available records the measured values span a wide range. PM2.5 concentrations run from just 0.13 µg/m³ up to 52.70 µg/m³, with a median near 7.9 µg/m³; PM10 varies between 0.80 and 37.54 µg/m³, median 8.5 µg/m³. Temperature readings cover 7.92 °C to 22.29 °C (median 16.02 °C), while relative humidity ranges from 29.1 % to 68.5 % (median 49.7 %). The particle count metric UM003 shows a minimum of about 126 particles/cm³ and a maximum exceeding 6,500 particles/cm³, with a typical value around 1,576 particles/cm³.
