Unhealthy for sensitive groups for Turin, Piedmont, Italy

⚠️ This website is currently under active development. Some data may be incomplete or temporarily inaccurate. For health-critical decisions, please verify information through official government or environmental sources.
Categories follow US EPA AQI breakpoints for PM (estimate from latest valid measurements; this project does not compute EPA NowCast/24-hour AQI yet).

This friendly indicator summarizes the latest city readings. For health guidance, please see: EPA AirNow or WHO.

Air quality today

The air quality today in Turin is classified as USG. The primary pollutant identified is PM2.5, with a measured concentration of about 50.95 µg/m³. In addition, the PM10 level is recorded at 24.0 µg/m³ based on fifteen valid observations.

Data are shown via OpenAQ and reflect the current monitoring results for the city. This page is informational; for health guidance, use official sources such as EPA AirNow or WHO.

What the data includes

The dataset for Turin includes eight measured variables – carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), ozone (O₃), particulate matter of three size fractions (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10), sulphur dioxide (SO₂), relative humidity and temperature (the latter is recorded but not shown in the summary). In total 18 rows of observations are available from six monitoring sites across the city, giving a modest spatial coverage that varies by pollutant. The most recent measurements were taken on 2026‑02‑10 at 21:00 UTC for PM2.5, PM1 and relative humidity at the Pozzo Strada station, while CO, NO₂, SO₂, O₃ and PM10 were last updated on 2026‑02‑07 (09:00 UTC for most, 07:00 UTC for PM10). Thus the freshest data are only three days old, but several pollutants have not been refreshed since that date.

Across the eight variables the observed ranges differ markedly. CO is reported at a single value of 1 400 µg/m³ from Rebaudengo, indicating no variation in the recent sample set. NO₂ spans 34 to 42 µg/m³ with a median of 38.5 µg/m³, while SO₂ varies between 5 and 7 µg/m³ (median 6 µg/m³). Ozone shows a low spread from 5 to 25 µg/m³ (median 15 µg/m³). Particulate matter exhibits the widest dispersion: PM2.5 ranges from 0 to about 51 µg/m³ (median 20 µg/m³, 90th percentile ≈ 45 µg/m³), whereas PM10 is recorded at a single value of 24 µg/m³ and PM1 at roughly 30.37 µg/m³. Relative humidity is captured once at 56.6 %.

These figures illustrate that some pollutants are monitored at multiple sites with enough observations to describe a distribution, while others rely on a single recent reading. The overall dataset is fairly fresh for most variables but still limited in temporal depth, so conditions can differ across neighborhoods and over time beyond what the current rows capture.

Data notes

The data shown for Turin reflects 15 valid measurements and is updated within 3 days, with the latest refresh recorded on 2026‑02‑10T21:00:00+00:00. This snapshot provides a current view of city‑wide air quality but conditions can differ across neighborhoods and change throughout the day, so local variations may not be captured in these aggregate figures.
